Evin & Sarah Are Married!

Posted in Bridals,Newlyweds,Wedding Day by AEFP on January 14, 2011

Our Names:

Sarah Rose
Evin Anthony

The kind of dress I thought I wanted:

Oh goodness, a dress I found online and got through a referred friend, ordered wayyy too big, and couldn’t get it altered correctly!!

The kind of dress I ended up choosing:

A beautiful and flattering dress TWO weeks before the wedding! It was a totally different look, and I felt absolutely beautiful in it :) it was THE dress!

The thing that makes my bridal look unique:

I went for a “vintage” inspired wedding, birdcage veil, large hair piece with feather, and my shoes (which everyone loved and my wedding coordinator wanted to keep)!

What I liked about my Bridal / Newlywed Photo Shoot with Erin and the pictures I ended up with:

Erin was AWESOME to work with! She created the entire “first time” he would see me in my dress, helped us relax, and Adam did THE best photoshopping job…EVER!!

Our Occupations:

Sarah is a student at UL and works part-time.
Evin is a student at UL (taking this semester off) and works full-time.

We’re from:
Sarah was born in Los Angeles, CA, raised in Lafayette, LA.
Evin was born and raised in Lafayette, LA.

How long we’ve been together:

Five years this month!!

How we met:

Senior year in high school!

What makes our personalities so compatible:

Living for Christ, blessing others, and loving to laugh!

A funny story about us:

Evin and I said the same thing at the same time one day, and Evin says ” Pinch poke you owe me a coke!”….but his hands did “Poke pinch you owe me a coke”! We still do it wrong on purpose today!! :)

A moment from the wedding you’ll never forget:

Groom: Whenever I saw Sarah for the first time walking down the aisle….and when I shoved cake in Sarah’s face!!

Bride: Walking down the aisle and seeing Evin cry :)

Emotions experienced during the wedding:

Groom: Indescribable!

Bride: Peace, joy, excitement, and love!

Wedding Venue and why we chose it:

River Ranch Townsquare for the ceremony. It was very reasonably priced, convenient, and beautiful!

Other vendors we would highly recommend:

Complete Music for DJ service, preferably Broderick!
Crystal Weddings for a cake!

Reception Venue and why we chose it:

River Ranch City Club, same reasons why we chose the Townsquare!

Mode of transportation:

My car, decked out with writing and cans strung with ribbons in the back!

What we liked about having Adam and Erin as our wedding photographers and our wedding day pictures:

The modern and beautiful work we’ve seen them do before, their kindness and eagerness to work, their amazing ideas and suggestions, and their passion for their work!
